Back in July the Olympics were humming along in Paris and I wrote about how the Olympic motto of “faster, higher, stronger — together” resonated with Liberis’s improvements in the first half of the year.

Now we’re in the holiday season, and in the spirit of gift giving (I’m hoping for a San Francisco 49ers hat!) I’m excited to call out some gifts that Liberis has left for our customers in the second half of the year.

The Flexible Cash Advance solves this issue of unpredictability by giving customers on-demand access to money for an entire year. With one application, customers are granted a pool of funding that they can keep coming back to.

They can take out these funds in 1 big chunk or do smaller, spread out advances — it’s totally up to them. When they want to access their pool of money they don’t need to fill out additional details or upload documents.

It all starts behind the scenes with our Merchant Graph, which now automatically determines a) who is eligible for a renewal and b) how much they’re eligible for. So when a customer is logged into the active customer experience, they can take care of everything. They will automatically see their available funding amount, they can customize how much they want, and they can adjust what percentage of revenue to direct towards payments. If they’re pre-approved, they can even sign the contract at the same time! 

It’s Santa and Rudolph who normally get all the credit, but the true Christmas fans know it’s the elves doing crucial behind the scenes work. Some big strides the Liberis elves made in H2 were automating compliance checks and document collection. And once the customer is approved for additional funding, we can automatically send that money to them, which means they can get their toys funding even faster.

  • Going global: We launched in 5 new countries this year: Canada, Poland, Iceland, Norway, and Germany. We’re proud to stick to our mission of believing big in small businesses, regardless of which country the customer operates from.
  • Speaking their language: Our customers love tracking their payments progress, particularly because it lets them know when they’re eligible for more funding, and now our active customer experience can show that info in 7 different languages. Having this info available in their native language is a big win towards making our customers feel understood.
  • Personalized offers for new customers: I already mentioned the capabilities of our Merchant Graph to automate eligibility and offers for active customers, but our Merchant Graph can also automate this for new customers, which means customers can get personalized and pre-approved offers faster.
  • A scalable ledger: We’re always making improvements under the hood and this year we doubled down on investing in our financial ledger. We’re excited about how these investments underpin Liberis’s multiple products and expansion into new countries.
  • AI investments: We have continued to invest in AI and cut in half the time it takes to train a model. This means we can approve more customers and ensures that we only offer financing our customers can comfortably afford.
  • Speedy signing process: Through an innovative in-house solution, we’ve decreased the time it takes for customers to sign their contracts by 80%, which highlights both our commitment to the customer experience and how we’re continuously making things more efficient.
